Development has picked up a good stride this year and 2021 has been great for SC gameplay, but like you said, there's a lot left. The best way to enjoy SC is to enjoy what we have now. If SC has anything, its loads of info on the status of the project. Every month we get an extremely detailed monthly progress update post on the RSI site. Star Citizen's weekly shows like Inside Star Citizen and Star Citizen Live are also good info dumps on the state of the project. Probably the best way to stay up to date with SC news is this subreddit, keeping an eye for Official tagged posts. Every two weeks, CIG does a Roadmap Roundup that provides details on what has been added, updated or removed on the Roadmap. You can see a full history of what has been released and what's coming in the next few quarters. I was once a member of ADI? They still around or an empty shell? Perhaps one open to piracy or with a piracy sister guild? Most likely one focused on RP and creating experiences. I would say I am simultaneously throwing a bid out there to help get this running to create content and fun in star citizen.Īnd I am looking to join an organization. And winners declared.Īny interested? Any takers? Or we could do a campaign where pirates try to establish a foothold there's plenty of options to be sure! Have the most restrictions on flyable ships at first and drop the restrictions as orgs sieze control of research/planets/mines or as they gather ores themselves.Īnd eventually at a pre determined date the campaign would come to an end. A few personal tools in the hands of a neutral party, a few organizations to sign up. make this info publicly available and allow multiple organizations to work together, stage fights at times. One could easily track the outcome of a few staged events for "ownership" of a station or research outpost. You have 1 system, 4(5)? planets with cities. Has anyone (most likely an RP org or a few) thought about staging a longer term territory war? I want to love this game, and I see how currently, emergent cooperative gameplay has the best opportunity to lead to awesome engagements and events so here's my thoughts. I DO NOT WANT TO GO QUIETLY INTO THE NIGHT! help me plug back in bois, because I love what I'm seeing and I don't want to write this game off again. So help me, where's their road map? How fast have they been developing? Where's their communication? Did I just miss citCON? What's going on with the game? Where do I find all this information. especially since all the other systems needing to be added have been done a 1000 times.īut. I don't see why they couldn't release this in 1-3 years and continually add content and ships with their current financial models. There are honestly very FEW things this game needs to truly be a game, to enter a "release" state. Polish out AI, add vanduul/vanduul war-force. They have been developing SC for what? 7 years? 8? And apparently they are around 10-20% complete. I saw another post here outlining where SC development currently is, and how much has yet to be added and I am soooooo depressed. And I feel like I'm finally catching the vision of SC a bit. With 3.15 coming and Medicare getting added, I'm really, really falling in love with this, it's awesome. I can break the law, and i can bounty hunt. I can mine, refine, deliver goods/products. Some kind of market mechanic to buy low/sell high. So, I'm getting hyped, they have the prime game loops running. And yet I wrote SC off for literal YEARS only to fire the game up during 3.14 and holy shit. Bought the Cutty black on release, bought the sabre on release. Dragonfly’s have become the favorite of a particular brand of enthusiast that frequently gather together to share their modifications, off-track race… and other less legitimate "hobbies. Please read and help me. Occupying somewhere in the pantheon between a snub fighter and an Aurora, the Dragonfly is a speedy, maneuverable ultralight designed to be cheaply constructed in large numbers and to be readily customized by hobbyists. In short, it’s the closest thing to strapping an engine and a weapons mount to your spacesuit… or, as the advertising campaign claims, it’s the closest thing to riding the vacuum yourself. You don’t so much as climb into the Dragonfly as you do put it on around you. Let me know in the comment section down below what ship you want to see next in the Star Citizen Universe! But only if you can also give me a reason why!!! :)
